Anthony Boo Boo Owens

Mr. Anthony “Boo Boo” Owens was born January 7, 1964 to Shirley Ann McCall  and the Late Warren Stamps, who was the Joy of his life.  Boo Boo who was a well-known resident of Georgiana was full of life and laughter.  He joined the Hickory Grove Baptist Church at an early age.  Later he moved to Birmingham for several years then back to Georgiana where he united with the New Testament Holiness Church under the leadership of Pastor Jimmie Hunter.  He loved and spoke of Pastor Hunter often.   

Anthony made his transition from time unto eternity on June 16, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his Father, Warren Stamps, Step-father, Wade McCall, Grandparents, Lily B. Riley, Grover C. Owens, Dovie Kent and Edward Kent. 

Mr Anthony Owens – BKA- “Boo Boo”, Big Juke, and Cheese will forever be remembered by his loving, caring, and dedicated Mother Mrs. Shirley Ann McCall; Sisters, Anna (Mack) Lee, Nicole Keys, Cynthia Owens, and Shirley Smith; Brothers, Charles (Bobbie) Owens, Brad McCall, Byrant (LaTonya) McCall, Brett McCall, Brandon (Nikki) McCall, Anthony (Jenelle) Johnson, and Connell Lily; Aunts, Brenda Shephard, Maggie Owens, Michelle Thompson, Annie Owens, Gloria Jean Kent, and Ginnie Vee Frinks; Uncles, William Owens, Charles Carter, Roman Owens, Bobby Kent, Edward Kent and Melvin Stamps; Special Friends, Judy Davidson, Glenda Dale, and Fredina Lewis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends .
