Mrs. Bonnie Lee Banks Curry was born on February 14, 1955 to the late Christine and John Essie Banks in Conecuh County. She departed this life on December 21, 2023 at her residence surrounded by love ones that she dearly loved.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her loving son, Clarence Curry, Jr., five brothers and one sister. She was affectionally known to everyone as Sugar Baby. She worked for over 30 years for the Comfort Inn Hotel in Greenville, Alabama where she was loved and cherished dearly. She was a great cook and enjoyed doing it for her family. She was a member of The House of God Church, Long Creek, Alabama.
Bonnie leaves to cherish her loving memories, her husband of 54 years, Mr. Clarence Curry, Sr. of Pineapple, Alabama; two loving daughters Mary (Ollie) Pennington, and Joyce (Lee) Haynes of Georgiana, Alabama; eight grandchildren- 7 grandsons, Damien, Curtis (Robin)Curry, Lee Earnest Curry, Clarence Curry III, Lecedric Haynes, Axenda Pennignton, Kadarious, and one special granddaughter; Angel Haynes; a host of great-grand children; one brother, James (Sara) Banks of Greenville, AL; two sisters, Patsy Joyner and Mary (Julius) Mayes; two sister-in-laws Katie Mae Banks of Greenville, AL and Mary Easley of Pineapple, Alabama; Special thanks to Ms. Janet Simpson, Katie Banks, and Adren Joyner for all your love and support during her illness, and finally she leaves to cherish her memories a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
