Chester Howard White

Mr. Chester Howard White was gifted to Ms. Marie White on September 19, 1946 in Butler County, Alabama.  He gained his heavenly wings on January 22, 2022 at Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama. 

Chester was born in Butler County, Alabama and attended Georgiana Training School.  Chester was one who truly enjoyed life and laughter.  He was known for helping all that he could and he made no difference between those he helped.  He was indeed a friend to all and a diehard Auburn Fan. 

Chester was proceeded in death by his mother, Marie White.

 Chester was very fond of all of his children, but he was in every since of the word a “Girls Dad”.  He leaves to cherish his memories, three boys, Brian White,  Chester White, Jr, and Nathaniel Rhodes all of Greenville Alabama; four girls, Valisha Rhodes of Luverne, Alabama, Kimberly and Diana Rhodes  of Greenville, Alabama, and Samantha (Douglas) Howard, of Montgomery, Alabama; one brother, Charles (Shirley) White of Georgiana, Alabama; longtime companion, Eloise Rhodes; God Sister, Dorothy Matthews of Georgiana, Alabama;  nine grandchildren, one great grandchild;  one special niece Shelia Mobley ( His Monkey Lady), one special cousin William Haslip of Detroit, MI; special friend James Longmire; and a host of  nieces, nephews and friends.
