Mr. Claude Lewis Bullard, affectionally, known as “Bo” was born on December 27, 1941 to the late Lorene Ewing Bullard and Al Bullard in Butler County Alabama. He departed this life peacefully on Sunday, May 21, 2023 in the Crenshaw Community Hospital.
Bo was educated at the St. Luke Community School in the Pigeon Creek Community.
Bo was a devout Christian. He confessed Christ at an early age and was a dedicated member of St. Luke A.M.E. Zion Church. There is served as a Trustee and a faithful member of the Usher Board. He took on the role of a true missionary by visiting the sick, taking others to the doctor, and ensuring that he fulfilled his role as a servant of Christ.
Bo was a fun loving individual who enjoyed life to its fullest. He could be seen playing with children or cracking jokes on the adults. There was never a dull moment. He was loved by many. Bo retired from International Paper Mill formerly known as Union Camp after many years of service.
Bo was preceded in death by his parents, Al and Lorene Bullards, wife, Larraine Bullard, two sisters, Ellar Bullard and Elnora Johnson.
Bo leaves to cherish his memories: Daughters, Eva Clayton of Rutledge, AL, Kimberly Cooper of Huntsville, AL; Son, Alvin Peoples of Troy, AL; Step-Daughter, Pontina (Anthony) Murray of Montgomery, AL; Brothers, Clarence Bullard of Greenville, AL, Henry Bullard of McKenzie, AL, Robert Otis (Debra) Bullard and Lawrence (Louise) Bullard of Niagara Falls, NY; Five grandchildren; Special Nieces, Marisa Bullard, Kim Hill and Kachessa Upshaw; and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
