Cynthia Elaine Lewis Boggan

Cynthia Elaine Lewis Boggan was born on April 24, 1959 in Georgiana, AL to the late Willie Mack and Ruth Arlene Lewis. She was educated at R. L. Austin Middle School, Georgiana High School, and Miles College. In 1978 she welcomed a son, Thelamus (T.J.). In 1980, she welcomed a daughter, Tonya. In 1991, she joined Charles Boggan in matrimony during this courtship and union two sons were welcome- Terrance and Tarone. 

Cynthia decided to further her education and in 1994 she earned her LFN from Reid State Technical College. She was employed with several residential facilities throughout her career. 

Cynthia gave her life to Christ at an early age. She was an active and faithful member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church . She served on several committees, but her true ministry was music. She shared her love for God through the piano and played until she fell ill. 

Cynthia is no longer here in the physical but her spirit, her words, her laughter, her drive for excellence will live on through her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by twin granddaughters Destinee and Desiree. Her cherished and precious memories are left to four children: T.J. (Marquiesha) Hinesville, GA; Tonya Montgomery, AL ; Terrance (Summer), Greenville, AL; Tarone, Georigana, AL. Six Grandchildren; Nakaiya, Taraji, Jakari, Tamia, Hudsyn, and Kameron.  Eight Siblings: Gwen, Michael, Donald, Carl, William, Georgiana, AL Ronald Montgomery, AL , Kerry, Washington, D.C. ; Angela, Birmingham, AL and a plethora of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, relatives and friends.
