Mr. Freddie Lee Banks was born on November 22, 1961 to the late Christine George Banks and John E. Banks in Conecuh County. He departed this life on Sunday January 15, 2023 at his residence.
Freddie also known to everyone as “Pinto”. He enjoyed truck driving and mechanic work. He grew up in the Georgiana area. He served in the United States Army for 2 years stationed in Fort Jackson. He was a member of the House of God Church in Long Creek, Alabama.
He leaves to cherish his memories: Two loving daughters Alexis Samuel and Ashley Presley from Evergreen, Alabama; Two sons (1 devoted) Freddie Banks Jr. (Brittany) of Evergreen, Alabama and Kendrick Bogan; seven grandchildren, Ayacia Samuel, Ambria Samuel, Jamerezes Thomas, Jai’niya Brooks, Kynlee Banks, King Banks, Kilee Banks; three loving sisters – Ola Joyner, Bonnie (Clarence) Curry, and Mary (Julius) Mayes of Georgiana, Alabama; one devoted brother James Ray (Sara) Banks of Greenville, Alabama; one sister in law, Katie Banks of Greenville, Alabama; four brothers proceeded in death and 1 sister. Also left cherishing his memories are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; two special nephews Jack Lymon of Evergreen, Alabama and Adren Joyner of Evansville, Indiana.
