We are confident, I say and willing rather to be absent from the body to be present with the Lord – 2ndCorinthians 5:8
On July 5, 1986, Father God blessed Lawrence and Angelyn Ball with a tiny, bright eyed boy with a face like his daddy. James was the kind of person that you might say, walked to the beat of his own drum. He loved people and always tried to keep everyone having fun. James was an avid reader and he wrote poems and music. When James was young, he loved to run and he could run fast. He once ran up the steps so fast that he broke his nose. James was also good with words and he assumed that what he said was the only right way. He grew up to love sports and he was good at them. James was very smart and it was a gift because he didn’t have to work at learning it came naturally. He graduated McKenzie High School in the top 5.
Then, the man, he still believed that what he said was the law, but he was quiet about his commands, thus the nickname Quietboy/Commando. He became a member of the neighborhood group of young men called the Dirtroad Boyz. They produced music and the number 1 hit was, “Clean as a Whistle.” Everyone loved that song. Music was great but the most important thing about them was their love and loyalty to each other. This still exist today – Respect the Dirt!
As a young man, James accepted Christ Jesus as his savior. He would preach to anyone.
The end until it begins again.
