Katrina Roper-Smith

Owner and Licensed Funeral Director

Katrina Roper-Smith brings 20 years of experience to Georgiana Memorial Funeral home. There from the beginning, Katrina served alongside her parents Owners and Founders Max and Mary Roper and within years of opening, became the Licensed Funeral Director for Georgiana Memorial. Katrina is a Member of the Alabama Board of Funeral Directors, the National Board of Funeral Directors, and the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Professionals where she is completing her Certified Funeral Service Practitioner.

She holds an Ed.S in Educational Leadership from Jacksonville State University and ABD, University of Alabama, and further doctoral studies from Alabama State University. She has over 30 years experience as an educator.

Katrina serves as a Pastor in the Central Alabama Conference of the A.M.E. Zion Church, Director of Evangelism, and Director of Services for the Elderly. She is active with the AFDMA/NFDMA and the Women Auxiliary of both organizations. Katrina is the mother of two and bonus mom of four. Katrina and her husband Marvin has 6 children. Katrina is eager to serve the community of Georgiana and surrounding areas with her vision of excellence and loving treatment for all those she serves.

Ernest Williams

Licensed Funeral Director

Ernest Williams also is a licensed funeral director. He has been in the funeral home industry for over 30 years. Ernest was instrumental in the conception of Georgiana Memorial and continues to remain faithful to providing the Georgiana community professional and courteous service.

He is married to Willie Mae Williams, they have three children and four grandchildren.
